Meeting new people, made natural.
Buttr is a social discovery app that helps people meet, date and explore meaningful connections with singles in their city. I designed the full mobile experience, from onboarding and a photo-first Discovery Grid to messaging with voice memos and a Lifetime Membership upgrade.

The challenge
What we set out to build.
Buttr needed a complete app experience that made meeting new people feel natural and enjoyable, with a look that stood apart from other dating apps.
What I did

A bold identity
The app is built around a butter-yellow and midnight-navy palette that carries through every screen, from onboarding to settings.

Photos first
The Discovery Grid puts photos up front with age filters, and profile cards keep the details easy to scan.

Every step of the flow
I designed onboarding with phone, age and location steps, messaging with voice memos, the Lifetime Membership upgrade and settings.
